Obituary for Mr. Roy A Bellenoit

Roy A. Bellenoit, 75, of Blandon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.  He was the loving husband for 54 years of Theresa A. (Scheks) Bellenoit.

Born in Pottstown, Roy was the son of Henry and Grace (Haas) Bellenoit.  He graduated from Saint Pius X High School and Kutztown University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts.  He worked as a Regional Director for the Social Security Administration for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. 

Roy was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Kutztown.  He enjoyed playing golf and cards, traveling, and building LEGO.  Above all, he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his eight grandchildren.

Roy is survived by his wife, Theresa, his three sons and their families:  Michael and Liz and their five children, Andrew ‘Max’, Eva, Aaron, Ronan, and Rory; Matthew and Barbara and their son Zachary; and Mark and Lucy and their sons Ethan and Jon.  He is also survived by his sister Lucie and her husband Ron and a large extended family.

He was pre-deceased by his three siblings, Arthur Haas, Judith Maurar, and Marie ‘Nicki’ Thomas.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA with the Reverend John C. Maria as Celebrant.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 in the vestibule of the church.  Burial will be held privately in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in Roy’s memory to Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown PA 19530.
