Obituary for Ms. Mary E. Keller

Mary E. Keller, 96, of Topton, formerly of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

 

Born in Rockland Township, Mary was a daughter of the late Frederick M. and Lizzie D. (Kercher) Keller. She was employed by the former Fleetwood Shirt Factory until her retirement in 1987.

 

Mary was well known at The Lutheran Home at Topton for her kindness and generous spirit as she contributed many hours volunteering to assist other residents.

 

Mary is survived by a sister, Bertha A. (Keller) Bennecoff, also a resident of The Lutheran Home; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, Carol, Alfred and John Keller; and a sister, Beulah E. (Keller) Fox.

 

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Mary's life will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with The Reverend Dr. Colleen G. Kristula, Chaplain of The Lutheran Home at Topton, officiating. Burial will follow in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood (Rockland Township).

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
