Obituary for Mrs. Elsie Mae Wehr

Elsie Wehr-Schearer, 75, of Kutztown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022, in her residence.

Born in Kutztown, Elsie was the daughter of Ralph Henry Schearer and Florence Alverda Stern- Schearer. She was the wife of the late Dean H Wehr Sr.

Elsie was self-employed and co-owner of Wehr & Sons Mobile Home Service before retiring.

Elsie enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and pets.

She always looked forward to the family's fishing trips to Canada and stays at their cabin in Renovo PA, where many great memories were made with his family, neighbors and close friends.

She enjoyed playing bingo and most recently her computer games.

Elsie is survived by her three children, Melony M. Weinman, Dean H. Wehr, Jr., both of Kutztown PA, and Christopher D. Wehr, of Richfield, OH, and their families.

Elsie will be reunited with her husband, family members, friends and her pets.

Services for Elsie will be held privately by her family. Donations are being collected by Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., P.O. Box 292, Kutztown, PA 19530-0292.
