Obituary for LYNDA L. BOHANAK

Lynda Lee (Smith) Bohanak, 82, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Earl Bohanak, who passed in 2016.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Withrow) Smith. Lynda graduated Reading High School, Class of 1958. She worked as a bookkeeper for CNA for many years, before and after taking time to raise her daughter.

Lynda was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her daugther, Kelly Mason, wife of the late George C. Mason, of Mohnton; and sister, Sharon Oxenrider, wife of Leslie Oxenrider, of Wyomissing.

A prayer service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 5, in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
