Obituary for EDWARD J SCHOLZE JR

Passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. Edward "Herky" Scholze was born April 17, 1935 to Edward Sr. and Marie Scholze of Bloomfield. He grew up there along with his siblings Raymond and Delores. He married his soulmate Janet Caliguiri in 1967 and had four children, Richard Scholze, Pamela Watson (Mark), Christine McGregor (Robert), and Tracy Mammarelli (Robert). Seven grandchildren, Stevie (John), Zachary, Corey (Krystal), Dominic, Melina, Bella, and RJ. Great-grandchild, Jordan. He was a loving, devoted husband, the very best father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his country as a Navy Veteran and served his city as Pittsburgh Police Officer of 25 years (FOP Lodge #1, badge #1449.) He was a hole in one golfer & Bowler for the FOP. Friends received at the WINTER FUNERAL HOME, P.C., 4730 Friendship Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224 on Sunday, September 12, 2021, 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral on Monday, September 13, 2021, in the First Trinity Lutheran Church, 531 N.
