Obituary for Mrs. Betty L. Linsey

Betty L. (Rudisill) Linsey, age 94, passed away on March 4, 2021 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of the late Curtis Linsey Jr., who passed away in 2000. Betty was born in York County on February 19, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Wilbur S. and Kathryn (Glessner) Rudisill. She graduated from West York Area Highschool and went on to work at Colonial Manor Nursing Home for many years. Betty is survived by her children Kathy Murphy and husband Barry, Terry Linsey, Kurt Linsey and wife Kathy, Worley Linsey and wife Judy, Greg Linsey and wife Vicki, Steve Linsey, and Debbie Eisenhart and husband Michael; her 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Helen Rudisill and Worley Rudisill; and her ex-daughter-in-law Sue Allen. Betty was preceded in death by her son Mark Linsey; and her siblings Robert Rudisill and Joann Rudisill. A visitation in celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Wednesday from 9:00-10:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove PA 17362. The memorial service will be held privately by the family. Due to COVID-19 guidelines and in compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending the viewing will be required to wear masks and social distance. Attendance inside the funeral home will be limited to 30 people at a time. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
