Obituary for Raymond Douglas Jr. Crowther
CROWTHER Mr. Raymond Douglas Crowther, Jr. age 54 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Griffin Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on November 13, 1955 in Derby to the late Raymond Douglas Crowther, Sr. and the late Ruth Alice (Estabrook) Crowther. Raymond was a senior security officer at Target in Ansonia. He was a former member of the Hurricanes Drum Corp. Raymond leaves two loving daughters, Melissa Crowther and her husband, Thomas Trovato of Stamford and Amanda Crowther of New Britain; six brothers and sisters, Linda Lombardi of Derby, Kathleen Borzelli and Patricia Farris, both of Maine, Kenneth Crowther of Ansonia, Robert Crowther of Georgia and Renee Murphy of Florida and several nieces and nephews. His brother, Craig Crowther, predeceased him. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 3 at 10 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and Friends may call on Tuesday, November 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. .
