Obituary for Nancy DeLizzio

Nancy DeLizzio (nee Serafino), died peacefully with her family on July 10, 2021 at the age of 95.

Loving Mother of Mary Lou Super (Thomas), James DeLizzio (Carol), Nancy Jean DeLorenzo (James), Doreen Thompson (Scott). Beloved Grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister Caroline Crispin and brother Anthony Serafino (Jean). Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Louis Serafino, brothers, Carmen and Louis, Jr. Serafino and sister, Edith Sava.

Nancy was the best mother and grandmother ever. She loved life, and laughter and most of all "her kids." She celebrated everyone's birthday with their favorite foods, sweets, balloons -and lots of fun. She loved her work at the Townhouse where she treated many diners like family for 40 years. Nancy was well known for the festive pin- laden vest she wore at holidays, her casino trips, Sundays with Sinatra, and being a long time, loyal QVC member. We never knew what might show up at our door… a bag of frozen meatballs or emergency lighting and safety equipment in case the electricity went out. Her love for her family was fierce and unconditional. Her love of life and family is her most precious legacy. We will miss her dearly.
