Jean “Jenny” (Suski) Koch Jean “Jenny” (Suski) Koch, 94, of West Lawn, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021, in the care of Maidencreek Place. She was a Polish girl who was proud of her heritage. Born September 21, 1926, she was the youngest of six children born to Walter and Josephine (Jeznach) Suski. She was the loving widow of Frank K. Koch, who passed away March 21, 2004. Jenny graduated from Reading High School and worked at the Berkshire Knitting Mills before leaving the workforce to be a dedicated stay at home mother. She and Frank loved to polka dance and travel. Jenny was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was kind, loving, and generous, but was also feisty, opinionated, frugal, and savvy. She lovingly took care of her husband, and then lived alone for 17 years, missing him every day. Jenny was energetic and enjoyed a variety of activities including exercise classes, bowling, playing cards, and watching the Phillies. She also loved swimming and playing shuffleboard at Green Valley Country Club where she had been a member for over 50 years. Being with her friends and family made her life meaningful. She will be missed by her three children: Ronald F. Koch (Cindy) of Wyomissing; Timothy Koch (Becci) of Sinking Spring; and Sandy J. Rahn (Craig) of Camp Hill; her five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and seven step great grandchildren. The family is comforted by the knowledge that Jenny is so happy to be reunited with her husband, Frank, and all her family and friends already in Heaven.
