Obituary for George J McFadden

George J. McFadden age 90 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on September 22 2012 surrounded by his family. George was born in Renovo PA on April 1 1922. He is survived by his wife Virginia, children: Anne, George, Michael, Katie, Marilyn, and Charles five step children: Carol, Cecile, Donald, John and James Hanrahan; 10 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren.

He was a graduate of Villanova University as an accountant. He served in the Navy as an Officer aboard a destroyer and saw action in Okinawa and Leyte Gulf. George was an avid tennis player all his life. He moved to Palm Coast in 1992 and was captain of the GVTL 3.5 team for several years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday September 27 2012 at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 11:00 am. Visitation is from 10 to 11.
