Obituary for Mr David E. Myers Sr.

David Edward Myers Sr, passed away at his home on December 24, 2020. He was 80. He was employed at Harley Davidson till retirement. He was a sports lover especially Eagles football and Yankees baseball. He was active in York City Fire Department. He loved his dogs and cats like family and spoiled them. He is survived by his companion Sara Carr of Lancaster of 27 years. Three children Annette Hertel of Wrightsville, David E. Myers, Jr and wife Susan of York, Crystal Huffman and husband Charles of York. Five grandsons and one granddaughter. He is also survived by Sara's daughter, Sara Wilkemeyer and husband Frank and grandchildren, Katie Rohrbach, Beth Todd and Frank Wilkemeyer, Jr. He will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021, at 5 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market Street, York. A viewing will be held from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
