Obituary for Glaida "Lori" Baransky Thomas

Gllaida "Lori" Baransky Thomas, age 64 of Ansonia, entered into peaceful rest Friday May 4, 2007 llat her home with her devoted family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of Richard Thomas.  Mrs. Thomas was born July 24, 1942 in Northampton, MA, daughter of the late George and Ethel DeRose Martin.  She resided in Ansonia since 1993m previously of New Haven and Fairfield.  Glaida was employed as an LPN Nurse with the VNS of Southern Connecticut.  She was also formerly employed at Bridgeport Hospital, the Lord Chamberlain Health Center, Stratford and for Dr. Brian Karsif in Ansonia.  Glaida had a genuine love of animals.  In addition to her husband, Glaida leaves her loving family including two sons, Edward Buddenhagen of Jasper, GA and Daniel Baransky of Ridgefield, a daughter Lisa tiani of Norwalk, a brother David Matin of Millbrook, NY; a sister Darlene Ehlers of Bluejay, Ohio; five grandchildren; five stepchildren; and six step-grandchildren.  Funeral seervices in clebration of Glaida's life will be Tuesday at 10 am in the Ralph E.
