Obituary for Emma Purdy Warren
Emma Warren, 7l, of Ansonia, widow of John Warren, died Thursday November 23, 1961 at Griffin Hospital after an extended illness. She was a resident of Ansonia for the past 55 years. Mrs. Warren was born September 22, 1889 in Cold Spring, NY, the daughter of Alexander and Catherine Davis Purdy. She was a member of the First Congregational Church. Mrs. Warren is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Francis Hopps of Ansonia; two nieces, Mrs. Margaret Fulghan of Waterbury and Mrs. Estelle Rag of Willimantic.
Funeral services will be held Saturday with interment at Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia.
