Obituary for Karen A. Ranno Barto
Karen A. Barto, 61, wife of Peter Barto and Ansonia resident, died Friday October 17, 2008 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. She was born November 16, 1946 in Derby, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Karol Ranno. She worked as a customer service representative for Aquarian Water Co. and Phillips Medical Systems. Karen was a parishioner of The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia and a member of the A.A.R.P. IN addition to her husband Peter, she is survived by her two daughters, Kate E. Kochiss of Stratford and Tricia K. Barto of Ansonia; her brother, Michael Ranno of Ansonia; and four grandchildren, Alexa Picheco, John Picheco III and Nicholas and Matthew Kochiss. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday from The Church of the Assumption, Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemtery, Ansonia. The Jenkins-King Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
