Obituary for Patricia Lenart Schulte
Patricia Carol Schulte, 64, beloved wife of Willard C. Schulte of Shelton, died peacefully August 5, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at the Hospital for Special Care, New Britain. Born in Derby on April 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Lorraine Karpenko Lenart. In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Bonnie of Madison, Wis., Gregory of Greenwich and Gary of Milford and their spouses, Sarah, ary Alice and Patricia; her cherished grandchildren, Jake, Vincent, Gary Jr. and Lia Schulte; her dear sister, Barbara Dojnia of Shelton and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Schulte was a graduate of Shelton High School and a lifelong resident of Derby and Shelton. She worked as an expediter for Sikorsky for 29 years until her retirement in 2006. She was a Steward of Teamsters Local 1150 and volunteered in youth organizations through the years including the Girls Scouts of America and Shelton Youth Girls' Softball. She was a member of the Sikorsky Retirement Club. Wakelee Memoral Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
