Obituary for Allison Mancini Hlavna

Allison L. Hlavna, 27, beloved wife of Patrick Hlavna of Terryville and previously of Ansonia, entered into eternal life Wednesday March 19,2008 at home surrounded by her loving family. Allison was born December 17, 1980 in Derby, beloved daughter of Alan Mancini and Diane Burleigh Mancini of Ansonia. Allison graduated from Ansonia High School, Class of 1998. She was also a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Allison worked as a registered nurse on the Ortho-Neuro Trauma Unit at Danbury Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ansonia. In addition to her beloved husband and her parents, she is survived by her two loving sisters, Nicole Sprague and her husband Martin of Naugatuck and Jennifer Fell and her husband Jeffrey of Cheshire; maternal grandmother Virginia Burleigh of Ansonia; her cherished nieces and nephews, Adam, Jeffrey, Ashley, Kaylee, Nathan, Joshua, Meaghan and Paige; as well as her loving aunts and uncles, Geraldine Toler of Naugatuck, Cheryl and John Gillick of Seymour and Patricia and Richard Morissette of Ansonia; and many beloved cousins. Allison was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Walter Burleigh and paternal grandparents, John and Helen Mancini. And last, but not least, her beloved dogs, Shelby Lynn and Daisy Mae. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 26, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church, Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. The Jenkins-King Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
