Obituary for Darlene Fanton Bertrand
Darlene F. Bertrand, 71, of Seymour died May 24, 2008. Daughter of the late Earl and Thelma Sheldon Fanton, she was born June 16, 1936 in Fairfax, VT and was a Derby resident for most of her life before moving to Seymour. She was employed as a certified nurses aide. Survivors include two sons, Bobby of Vermont and David of Florida; three daughters, Victoria Henry of Texas, Kellie Lubinski and her husband, Daniel of Ansonia and Tammy Duquette and her husband Robert of Oxford; a brother Edward Sheldon and his wife Mary of Ansonia; a sister, Margaret "Peg" McHugh of Vermont; grandchildren, Michael and Scott Doucette, Juan and Steven Fiallos and Alexander and Madison Duquette. The Spinelli-Malerba-Ricciuti Funeral Home in Ansonia handled the arrangements. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
