Obituary for Fanny Chiesa Davila
Fanny Davila, 86, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday morning December 5, 2007 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Davila was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on December 22, 1920, daught of the late Jose and Amelia Gonzalez Chiesa. She was employed as a secretary for the Open Reality Agency for Disabled Citizens in Bridgeport for many years. Fanny will best be remebered for her b ig and bright smile and being everyone's "favorite". She is survived by two sons, Felix Davila and his wife Marilyn of Palmetto, FL and Nicholas Davila and his wife Kelli or Templeton, MA; a daughter Violet Smith of Stratford; two sisters, Olga Ramirez of Bethel and Iris Abreu of Casselberry, FL; a sister-in-law, Pura Chiesa of Stratford; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Chiesa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday December 10, 2007 in the Holy Rosary Church, Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. The Spinelli-Malerba-Ricciuti Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
