Obituary for Jo-Anne Boni

Jo-Anne Boni, 68, a longtime resident of Seymour, died July 6, 2010 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma and kidney disease. She was born June 5, 1942 in Derby, daughter of the late John and Hilda Anglace Boni. Jo-Anne graduated from Ansonia High School and the former Elm City Beauty Academy of New Haven. She worked as a hairdressr for Ernie's Beauty Parlor in Ansonia and also worked in sales for the former J.C.Penny's in Derby, Lewis Jeweleer's in Ansonia and Ace Begonias of Woodbridge. Jo-Anne was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. She was active in Seymour's Girls Junior Little League, where she was Vice president and Team Mom and took the team to the Little League World Series game in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1980. She leaves three daughters, Jo Elle Anderson of Seymour, Cheryl LePardo of Southington, Robin LePardo and her husband Charlie Young of Rock Hill, S.C.; her brother John Boni of Colorado; two grandchildren John and Michael Anderson and several nieces and nephews. Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia.
