Obituary for Marion Ireland Brown
Marion Brown, 87, of Shelton died Tuesday Sept. 5, 1995 at the Masonic Home in Wallingford after a long illness. She was the widow of Raymond Brown. Mrs. Brown, daughter of the late John and Josephine Kennedy Ireland, was born in Ansonia Dec. 9, 1907 and had been a lifelong Naugatuck Valley resident. She had worked as a bookkeeper for the former H.C. Cook Co. until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Shelton. She leaves a sister, Josephine Hultin of Glastonbury. The Jenkins-King Funeral Home, Ansonia is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
