Obituary for Dorothy Guit Wilson
Dorothy Wilson, wife of the late George Wilson, a longtime Ansonia resident now residing in Seymour, died February 22, 2009 at Shady Knoll Health Care Center in Seymour. She was born December 11, 1921 in Seymour, daughter of the late John and Sophie Guit and was a member of the St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ansonia. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Nancy Baranowski-Smith of Oxford and Jayne Nunes of Seymour; her sister Jule Ahlbin of Beaufort, S.C.; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, William and Peter Guit and six sisters, Eva, Helen and Kitty Guit, Mary FLood, Ann Wedge and Mildred Lynch. Jenkins-King Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Dorothy will be buried in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
