Obituary for Miss Olga Sobin
Olga Sobin, 84, of Shelton, died Friday, August 15, 2008 at Griffin Hospital. Born in Shelton, April 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Antonia Cirkot Sobin. Miss Sobin was a life-long resident of Shelton and member of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, Ansonia. She was an employee of the Industrial Heat Treating Co. of Shelton for many years until her retirement in 1984. Olga was a lovely woman with a kind heart. She will be missed by those who were privileged to know her. She is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as several great-nieces and nephews. Miss Sobin was predeceased by brothers Dimitry Michael Sobin, Peter Sobin and her fraternal twin Vladimir Sobin. A funeral service will be held in Three Saint Russian Orthodox Church on Tuesday August 19th. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
