Obituary for May L. Skiparis

May L Seabury Skiparis, age 84, of Seymour, and formerly of Ansonia, wife of the late Alfonsas Skiparis, died May 1, 2007 at Connecticut Hospice of Branford.  She was born February 12, 1923 in Ansonia, daughter of the late George and Martha Scott Bradshaw. She worked in the payroll dept. of Farrel Corp. and the East Side Greenhouse of Ansoia.  She was a membeer of the Christ Episcopal Church of Ansonia, and seerved on the Altar Guild and numerous church organizations.  She is survived by two daughters, Marianne Kazemersky and her husband Paul of Kittery, Maine and Susan Casso and her husband Matt of Seymour, two sisters, Violet Hine of Ansonia and Grace Smith of Southbury.  She is survived by two stepsons, Aan Skiparis and his wife Susan and Thomas Skiparis and his wife Pam of Beacon Falls; and six grandchildren and a great-grandson.  In addition to her husband Alfonsas, she was predeceased by her first husband Thoma Seabury and a grandson, Thomas Nichola.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday with friends asked to go directly to The Chirst Episcopal Churc, 56 South Cliff Street, Ansonia for 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia  Friends may call on Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donatons may be made in her memory to the church.  The Jenkins-King Funeral Home 12 Frankin St., Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements.
