Obituary for Cecile Chartier Ruth
Cecile Irene Ruth, 82, wife of the late Thomas F. Ruth Sr. of Shelton, peacefully entered into eternal rest Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital in Derby. Mrs. Ruth was born in Waterbury September 16, 1926, daughter of the late George and Germaine LaFerriere Chartier. A resident of Shelton for 25 years, she was employed at Specialty Plastics in Shelton, then Shelton Manufacturing and retired from Butkin Tool in Milford. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Ansonia, Derby and Shelton Senior Centers. She is survived by a loving son, Thomas F. Ruth Jr. and his companion Robin Fernley of Shelton; dear longtime companion Louis R. Fattarusso Sr. of Shelton and many friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home, Ansonia on Thursday April 9, 2009. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia.
