Obituary for Julia Pawchyk Stuppin

Julia Stuppin, 90, a long time resident of Seymour, passed peacefully at Griffin Hospital March 27, 2008. She was born November 18, 1917 in Ansonia and was the daughter of the late Theodosia Bodak and Pawel Pawchyk. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Stuppin. She leaves her sisters, Eva Kwoka of Oxford and Anna Spakosky of Ansonia. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by nine days byher brother Peter P. Pawchyk Sr., as well as brothers Dimetro Pawchyk and John Pawchyk, and sister Mary Lombardi. She will be greatly missed by her loving nieces, Annette German, Katherine Bisson, Nancy Gulash, Paula Pawchyk, Susan Bateman and Joanna Deagan and nephews, Paul Lombardi, Stephen Spakowsky, Jack Stuppin and David Kwoka. She was a devoted member of the Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church Ansonia. At her request there will only b a private family funeral. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home Ansonia is in care of the arrangements. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia.
