Obituary for Olga Hoponick Oneschuk
Olga Oneschuk, 88, of Naugatuck, former of Ansonia, wife of the late Andrew Oneschuk, died May 21, 2009 at the Mattatuck Health Care Center, Waterbury. Mrs. Oneschuk was born March 20, 1921 in Orange. She first worked for the B.F.Goodrich Co. of Shelton and then for the Latex Foam Co. of Ansonia for 20 years before her retirement in 1989. She was a lifelong member of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church. Survivors include her children, Alexander T. Oneschuk of Naugatuck and Janet Anna Oneschuk of Waterbury and two grandsons. She was predeceased by a son Andrew Oneschuk; brothers, jacob and Andrew Hoponick and sisters, Katherine Hoponick and Mary Jones. Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home Ansonia handled arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
