Obituary for Margaret L Huntsman

Margaret Joseph Huntsman (“Peggy Joe” or “Peggy” and ”Piglet” to her children) (nee Letter), 84, most recently a resident of The Watermark at Bellingham in West Chester, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA and Ocean City, NJ, died February 4, 2021 at Chester County Hospital with her children by her side.

Mrs. Huntsman, a retired registered nurse (RN), was a graduate of Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School (Class of 1954). She was a member of the Ocean City Yacht Club since 1967 where she sailed with her husband in the International 110 and GP-14 classes.

She was born to the late Joseph L. and Margaret F. (nee Leahy) Letter, June 27, 1936, Philadelphia, PA. Peggy married the late J. Alan Huntsman on May 27, 1966 and they shared 27 glorious years together. She is predeceased by her sister, Sister Mary Damian, RSM (“Patty”) Letter and her brother, Timothy D. Letter (Mary Ann), and she is survived by her brother, John J. Letter (Anne), her daughter, Kerry L. Hanson (Dan), her son, Brian A. Huntsman (Shannon), and her four grandchildren (Heather, Jake, Emily and Sophie).

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial luncheon at Anthony’s Ristorante, 4990 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA at a later date.
