Obituary for Jane Cooper
Jane Cooper, 69 year old resident of 18 New Street, died November 29, 1952 at Griffin Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. Miss Cooper was born in Arden, NY on November 21, 1858 and was 94 years old. She had been a resident of Ansonia for 69 years. She was the daughter of the late David & Mary Cooper. She was one of the oldest living members of Christ Episcopal Church and was very well and favorably known. Her death brings sadness to wide circle of friends and acquaintences. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. The Jensen Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
