Obituary for Julia Elliot Bibby
Julia E. Bibby, 92, wife of the late Frederick B. Bibby, Sr., and Ansonia resident, died December 4, 2009. She was born January 31, 1917 in Ansonia, daughter of the late John and Agnes JHames Elliot. A graduate of Ansonia High School, she worked as a Librarian for the Ansonia Library and was a member of the Derby Historical Society. Julia was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church of Ansonia, a member of the church E.C.W. (Episcopal Church Women) and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Marjorie Bibby and her brother John Elliot. She is survived by her son Frederick Bibby Jr. and his wife Linda of Ansonia; two granddaughters, Julie and Janet Bibby; both of Ansonia; two great grandchildren Annisha and Dondre Bibby; one great great grandson, Jaylen Walker and several nieces and nephews. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia.
