Obituary for Joseph Feducia

Joseph Feducia, age 92, husband of 65 years to Marie Maturo Feducia of Seymour, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Griffin Hospital.  He was born in Ansonia on August 14, 1914, son of the late Emanuele and Maria DiMauro Feducia.  He worked for Amerian Brass Co and was an avid golfer and gardener. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ansonia, and was one of the founding families and builders of the formeer Italian Baptist Church on Central St. Ansonia.  He was also a former member of the Valley Duck Pin Bowling League that won the National Championship.  In addition to his loving wife Marie, he is survived by his daughter Laura Alsdorf and her husband Harry of Naugatuck; a brother Anthony Feducia and his wife Marie of Seymour, a sister Ann Fuller of Fredericksburg, VA; four grandchldren Joseph Bagley Jr. of California, Catherine Bagley of Massachusetts, Mark Alsdorf of Florida and Rachel Alsdorf of Connecticut; one great-grandson Joseph Bagley III of California and 19 nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his daughter Linda Bagley, a sister Concetta Perez and five brothers Frank Salvatore "K.C.". Thomas, John and Michael Feducia.  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. from The Jenkins-King Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.  Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
