Obituary for Sr. John W. Boryk
Lillian Griskauskas Bowolick, 80, of Ansonia, died Sunday September 2, 2007 at the Griffin Hospital. She was the widow of Andrew J. Bowolick. Born in Oxford on October 20, 1926, daughter of the late Louis and Anna Kubulius Griskauskas. She was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a member of the St. Joseph's Church Women's Guild, a member of the American Red Cross Health and Safety Instructor Blood Services and AFES Volunteer for 30 years. Survivors are one son, Andrew Bowolick and his wife Ginny of Milford; one daughter Carol and her husband John of Oxford; five grandchildren, Christine and her husband Brendan O'Hayre; Lisa and her husband Christopher Mulvey; Paul Kirby, Brandon Bowolick and Casey Bowolick; one great granddaughter Mackenzie Grace O'Hayre and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son Charles Bowolick and three sisters, Nellie Bojny, Adele Dytko and Albina Rekus. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 5th with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia. The Bennett Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
