Obituary for Helene Karlak Warholic
Helene Warholic, 96, of Ansonia and wife of the late Matthew Warholic, died Tuesday February 12, 2008 at The Mid State Medical Cemeter in Meriden. She was born November 9, 1911 in Seymour, daughter of the late Dimitry and Mary Michnick Karlak. She was a member of The Three Saints Orthodox Church in Ansonia and worked as a press operator for Seymour Products. Helene was also a member of The Order of Easter Star, Olive Chapter, Seymour and The Derby Senior Center. She is survived by two brothers, Peter Karlak of Hamden and Michael Karlak of California, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Matthew, she was predeceased by her brothers, Otto, John and William Karlak and sister Eunice Klancko. Funeral services will be held on Saturday from The Three Saints Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia. The Jenkins-King Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
