Obituary for Wasil Kirilichin

Wasil Kirilichin, age 96, of Ansonia, beloved husband of the late Nina Ziwinska Kirilichin, died Monday May 21, 2007 at the Wastrous Nursing Center, Madison.  Born in Rostov, Russia on December 27, 1910 he was an Ansonia resident for more than 55 years, living on Fourth St. for 10 years and Franklin St. for the remainder.  Mr. Kirilihin was an employee of the former B.F.Goodrich Co. of Shelton and longtime member of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church.  He is survived by his devoted son Victor Kirilichin and his wife Ramona of Madison, cherished grandchildren Natalie and Adam Kirilichinm as well as sever nieces and nephews in Russia.  In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by eight sisters and four brothers.  Funeral services will take place on Friday May 25, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.  A funeral service will be held in Three Saints Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Avenue, Ansonia at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.  Family and friend may call on Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m.  Memorial prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m.
