Obituary for Frances Lobdell Dorman

Frances Dorman, 96, wife of the late Charles E. Dorman Sr., seven year resident of Hewitt Memorial Hospital in Shelton and former long-time Seymour resident, passed away June 8, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 16, 1912 in Ansonia, daughter of the late E. Arthur Lobdell and Frances Coastin Lobdell. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia and a charter member of the Valley Ecumenical Choir. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Bomba and her husband Edward of Seymour, son Charles E. Dorman Jr. and his wife Linda of Prospect; sister Doris Clark and her husband G. "Bush" Clark of Shelton, four grandchildren, Darlene Zawisza and her husband Gary of Ansonia, Edward Bomba and his wife Barbara of Seymour, Scott Dorman of Vermont and Wendy Carey and her husband Jason of Cheshire as well as nine great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her three brothers, Leroy, Arthur and Howard Lobdell, great grandson Colby Azwisza, her foster son William DuBois. The Jenkins-King Funeral Home of Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia
