Obituary for Anna Manna

Anna Manna, age 86 of Oxford passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007 at Griffin Hospital in Derby.  She was the devoted wife of the late Louis P. Manna.  Anna was born in Waterbury on November 30, 1920, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Kapeluch Haytko.  Anna worked at B. F. Goodrich for many years before she retired from her job in the dietary department of the Hewitt Memorial Hospital.  She devoted all of her life to her family by providing a loving home for her husband and family.  She will be missed by her daughters, Lisa Ann Dimas and her husband Dino of Seymour, Carol Gudsnuk Tierney and her husband Frank of Shelton and Barbara Salemme of Seymour.  She leaves a brother John Haytko of Shelton and a sister Eva White of Millersburg, PA.  She also leaves behind her loving granddaughter, Kayleigh Dimas; as well as seven other grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Michael Salemme and granddaughter Teerry Salemme Gardella.  Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 3:30 to 7:30 pm with Paratas service being celetrated at 6:30 pm by the Very Rev. Michael Rashak, at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, erby.  Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 am for a funeral service at 10 am in Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Ansonia  Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.  At the requst of the family, contributions may be made to the Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Avenue, Ansonia, CT 06401.  Condolences may be left for Anna at www.adzimafh.com.
