It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Platt (Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward L. Platt and Dolores K. Platt (Thinnes); his wife Constance M. Wilson; and his brothers, Joe and Paul Platt.

He is survived by : his children, Edward Platt (Shawn) of Tampa, FL, Linda Ziner (Richard), Bethel Park, Kenneth A. Platt (Lisa Scurto), Jeff Platt (Marcia), Brian Platt, Romney and Eric Platt; and his siblings, Dee Dee McCune, Pittisburgh (Diane Gollick) and Ronald Platt (Mary Ann). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 20th 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (3223 Perry Hwy, Sheakleyville, PA 16151). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2020 at 9:00 AM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3223 Perry Hwy, Sheakleyville, PA 16151). COVID 19 restrictions and guidelines and social distancing will be observed.
