Obituary for Mr. Ricky David Gentzler

Ricky D. Gentzler, age 66, of York Township, York, died at 10:22 PM Sunday, October 11, 2020 at York Hospital. Born November 5, 1953 in York, a son of the late Frazier E. Gentzler, II, and the late Pauline F.R. (Miller) Gentzler, he was retired and had previously worked with Shadowfax. Mr. Gentzler is survived by four sisters, Janet P. Sindlinger, and her husband Tom, D. Jean Nitchman, and her husband John, Karen E. Chronister, and Carol Y. Dick, and her husband Rodger, all of York; and a brother, Robert A. Gentzler, and his wife Sue, of York. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Frazier E. Gentlzer III, Russell E. Gentzler, Vernon L. Gentzler, and Marvin R. Gentzler; and a sister Betty R. Markel. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, October, 23, 2020 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Janyce C. Jorgenson officiating. Guests are invited to gather at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Cemetery at 12:50 PM. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
