Greg was born Jan. 15, 1948 in Washington D.C. He attended Holy Comforter Catholic School in D.C. and then entered 2nd grade at Blessed Sacrament Catholic school in Alexandria. In 1966, he graduated from Gonzaga Catholic High School in D.C. and went on to the University of Dayton in Ohio for two and half years. In 1969 he enlisted in the Navy for four years and was based in Panama and then Clark Air base in the Philippines. Upon discharged from active duty, he went into the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1973-1975. When he was in the Naval Reserve he worked part time for Giant Food while finishing his degree in Accounting at American University. He worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons for 27 years with the title of management analyst and retired in 2004. Greg moved to Annandale, VA and became a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He started coaching girls basketball 1984 and did so for some 30 plus years. He became St. Michael’s Parish Rep for the NVJCYO and was the president for the organization for approximately 20 years. He also was a commissioner for the various levels of girl teams and coached track and softball for a few years. He is survived by his sisters – Kathy Sexton, Terry DeVito and brother-in-law Fred DeVito Nieces - Jill Tomaselli, Laurie Bickart, Amy Sexton, Julie Stokes and Jenny DeVito. Nephews – Jamie and Adam Sexton, David and Michael DeVito. Great Nieces – Cara Sexton, Marisa Carabajal, Skylar Bickart, Carley, Ryleigh, Reaghan and Mackenzie Howe, Alyscia Ervin, Raeman, Georgia, Tarasita and Ivabelle Sexton. Great nephews – Andrew Sexton, Angelo Carabajal, Reece Bickart, Isaac, Everett and Emmett DeVito, Jacob, Josiah, Elia, Bede, Gabriel, and Seamus Sexton, Great great niece – April Ervin
