Obituary for Mr. Danny S. Mateo

Danny Mateo was born in York on October 4, 1975 to Eddie Ruth and the late Rebeca Mateo. Danny was a lover of life and enjoyed watching movies, football, working out, going on vacations and he loved spending time with family. Danny was an entrepreneur as he owned Trinity Home Improvements and The Mattress Mart. Danny entered rest on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Wellspan York Hospital. In addition to his father Eddie, Danny leaves to cherish his memory five sons Armon Mateo, Danny Mateo, Benin Mateo, Belguim Mateo and Gustavo Mateo; four daughters Lyric Mateo, Rebecca Mateo, Belize Mateo and Brazil Mateo; five brothers Eddie Ruth, Jr., Edward Ruth, Edmond Ruth, Juan Saborit, Jr., and Dwayne Orr; two step-brothers Kenny Saborit and Edrian Saborit; six sisters Dulce Simmons, Montika Ruth-Smith, Cheryl Ruth, Chanta Webb, Chawanna Ruth and Thanayi K. Ruth; stepparents Juan Saborit, Sr. and Thanayi Ruth; aunts, uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends. Danny was preceded in death by his mother Rebeca and a brother Gustavo Saborit.
