Obituary for Michelle Comeaux
Michelle Comeaux, born October 27, 1961, in Lafayette, Louisiana joined God in all His Glory on February 5, 2020, at the age of 58.
Michelle was a graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School, and attended USL. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and friends, caring for her beloved dogs, and endlessly supporting her LSU Tigers. Michelle was loving, humorous, full of wit, and loved politics. She was incredibly loyal to all who knew her.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Edward Comeaux, her paternal grandparents, Lilly and Dallas Comeaux, and her maternal grandparents, Beulah and Harry Begnaud.
She is survived by her mother, Gayle Begnaud Comeaux, three sisters, Lisa Comeaux Krieg (husband, Ray), Laurie Comeaux D’Aquin, and Yvonne Comeaux Houpy (husband, David), nieces Caroline D’Aquin El Cheikh (husband, Raed), Alexandra Domingue (companion, Cody James), and Meghan Houpy, nephews Blake Domingue (wife, Kristen), Richard D’Aquin, and Jacob Houpy, great-nephew, Maverick James, great-niece, Monroe Domingue, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery for Michelle Comeaux, 58, who died on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Baton Rouge. Reverend Howard Blessing will officiate.
May Michelle’s soul fly high in her new life with God, and may she shine in His everlasting light and forever in our hearts.
We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4
