Obituary for Wilfredo B Balancio

Wilfredo Barrientos Balancio died peacefully on the 7th of February 2020 in South San Francisco, California, surrounded by his loving family after a difficult yet courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born on the 25th of March 1949 in the Philippines where he worked as an educator, administrator, and principal. He married his loving wife Remy and was blessed with two children: Allan and Ellen. The family immigrated to the United States in 1991 where Wilfredo worked hard to provide a new and successful life for his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching western movies, reading and watching the news, and above all, spending time with his family. Wilfredo will be honored for his strong work ethic, honesty, loyalty, his love for God, and devotion to his beloved family. As an educator himself, he always hoped for his grandchildren to pursue higher education as a means of success and security for the future.

Wilfredo is survived by his wife Remy, children Allan and Ellen, his son-in-law Loreen, daughter-in-law Eunice, grandchildren: Josh, Vanessa, Samantha, and Gerard, as well as his siblings: Cayetana, Guadelia, and Tom. His legacy will never be forgotten and will be carried out by the family.
