Obituary for Alexander Elefante Young

Alexander E. Young passed away peacefully on November 4, 2019

Alex was the eldest son born to Louis and Adelina Young on May 10, 1940 in Baguio City, Philippines. He graduated from St. Louis High School and obtained his commerce degree from Baguio Tech & Commercial College in 1967 while also earning his law degree from Manuel L. Quezon University in 1968.

Alex and Lorna married in 1969 and after 2 kids, migrated to The United States as professionals in 1972 with their third child arriving in 1973 to complete the family. His work life included farming, food service, sales and management and a 26 year career with the U.S. Postal Service where he retired in 2000 without a single day of absence!

The memory and legacy of Alex will live on through his wife, Lorna, children, Lorina, Jay and Angelica, grandchildren, Avani, Jaeden, Kaia, Jericho, Javen, Josiah and, Jerius and countless dear friends and relatives. He will be remembered and missed for his friendly spirit, tremendous work ethic, goofy sense of humor, generous heart, love of sports, humble lifestyle and dedication to his family.
