Obituary for Y PHA

Ms. Y Pha peacefully went to heaven Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughters, San Yin (Phoeuk Yin) and Suen Harrison (Chris Harrison); grandchildren, Courtney Yin, Patrick Yin, Saundra Yin, Makaylah Kilgore and Carter Kilgore; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ang Chhem; and other loving family; Yin Kray, Cheam Cheas, and Caitlyn Yin.

Y was an active member of the Cambodian community. Her love for cooking never left you hungry. She was genuine, kind, and enjoyed caring for others. Y loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was a mom to everyone. She will be greatly missed in her community.

The family wants to thank everyone for their kind words and support.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
