Obituary for Patsy Miley Sheneman

Passed away on October 13, 2019 in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She is survived by her daughter, Sheilla Smith (Gary); grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Anna) and Mark Smith (Sara); neighbors and close friends, Tom and Marylee Lake and Ellen Holladay. Patsy’s greatest joy was her family. She loved keeping in touch with her distant relatives in Mississippi. Patsy was an avid cook. She enjoyed and took great pride in making snacks for the Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church of Alexandria and serving meals to the Living Christmas Tree Choir. She was a crafter, she made all kinds, including beautiful wreaths and flower arrangements. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 at 12PM at First Baptist Church of Alexandria, 2932 King Street, Alexandria, VA. Interment Ivy Hill Cemetery.
