Conrado Arevalo Visperas

June 2, 1932 - September 4, 2019

Conrado Arevalo Visperas, born in Pampanga, Philippines on 6/2/1932 to his parents Juan and Laurita Visperas. He was 1 of 5 siblings.

There, he spent most of his childhood into teen years and completed some college before leaving for the United States to join the U.S. Army in 1962, then was called for his first tour of duty to serve in the Vietnam War.

Years later, he flew back to the Philippines to marry his childhood neighbor, Leonor T. Murillo on 11/10/1966.

He was later deployed to Okinawa, Japan, where he and his wife had their first two children, a boy in 1968 and a girl in 1970.  Eventually, returned to America and had their 3rd child, also a girl in 1971, then a year later was sent to serve his 2nd tour of duty in the Vietnam War in 1972.

When he was finished serving his tour, went back to America and had 2 more children, another son in 1974 and daughter in 1982.

In all those years, Conrado served the U.S. proudly as a true patriot to this country.  He wore his uniform proudly and instilled a lot of discipline, honor and respect for his family to look up to.

Conrado retired from the U.S. Army with rank E6 Staff Sergeant in late 1982. He later started to work for the military as a Supply Technician at the Presidio of San Francisco, then years later, retired again in 1994.

He spent his life working hard and providing for his family, but at the same time, knew how to enjoy life.  He always attended his children's events and was very musically talented: self taught in piano, guitar, harmonica and singing as his family and close friends could attest to, especially at family gatherings.

He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.  Conrado lived a very fulfilling life and was surrounded with his most dearest loved ones during his passing.

Conrado leaves behind his wife Leonor, 5 children: Armando (Leah), Cynthia (Phil), Felicia Mae (Neil), Juan III (Maria Tere), Maria (Jeff) and 9 grandchildren: Arielle Yzabella, Jacob, Leonor Gladys, Arisa Jade, Keilah Therese, Savannah Marie, Jared Kahanu, Noah Juan and Josiah Makaio.
