Obituary for Forrest A. Robleto Sr.

Forrest A. Robleto, Sr., 90, formerly of Fleetwood, died peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Trenton, New Jersey, where he was a resident for four years. He was predeceased by his two wives, Mary (Dee) Robleto and Sarah A. (Sheetz) Robleto, and a companion, Miriam K. P. Muth. Born in Toledo, Ohio, Forrest was a son of the late Aurelius J. and Lillian M. (Benedict) Robleto. Mr. Robleto was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown and was a graduate of The Roman Catholic High School, Philadelphia.

Forrest served his country in The United States Navy reserves. He worked as a Driver for The Reading Eagle Company and Van Lear Bus Service, and as a Salesman and Driver for Mrs. Smith’s Pies, Tastykake, Rentschler and Nibble with Gibble’s. Forrest loved crossword puzzles and playing scrabble.

He is survived by his two children, Forrest A., Jr., husband of Deborah (Rutkowski) Robleto, Cherry Hill, NJ, and Lynn M. (Robleto), wife of John F. Tiscione, Trenton, NJ; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Rose (Robleto), wife of Peter Lucas, West Grove, PA, and a brother, Robert, husband of Elizabeth Robleto, Houston, TX. In addition to his two wives, companion and parents, Forrest was predeceased by a sister, Carol (Robleto) Shellenberger and two brothers, Richard and William Robleto.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA, with Rev. Monsignor Walter T. Scheaffer as celebrant. Burial will follow in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood (Rockland Twp.), PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 8:00 to 9:45 a.m. in the church.
