Obituary

Jacqueline U Villanueva, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. She was born to the late Dominador and Lourdes Villanueva on October 12,1961.

Jacqueline, also known as Jackie, attended high school in the Philippines at San Carlos Girls High School.  She then later completed her degree in science at the City College of San Francisco.  She has enjoyed a very rewarding career as a licensed vocational nurse.  She completed her career at General Hospital in San Francisco.

She enjoyed much of her childhood in the Philippines.  She moved to the United States with her parents and 9 siblings in 1981 and had been living in the Daly City and San Francisco area since.

Family and friends were Jacqueline’s passion and delight. She was a devout daughter, a loyal sister and dedicated mother.  Jacqueline always shown a quiet strength and never faltered when it came to adversity.  Despite her quiet demeanor, she always smiled and laughed with her whole heart.  Jacqueline loved to sight see and travel, enjoyed being around great company and great food, especially Filipino food.  She often enjoyed her soap operas and loved to watch movies. She also loved playing Candy Crush and was affectionately known as the “Candy Crush Master”. 

Jaqueline is survived by her children: Justin and Charlene, one grandson, Colin and 11 siblings.

Jaqueline has requested a service at Holy Cross Church and cremation funeral at Cypress Lawn.  She lastly wished for her family and friends to wear pastel colors to joyously celebrate her life.  The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last few months.
