Our Nanay, Paz Gonzales Bautista, of Daly City,    California, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at the age of 91.

Nanay Paz was born in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on April 2, 1928 – daughter to the late Jorge Reyes Gonzales and Romana Pangilinan Calderon.

Nanay Paz was a devout Catholic who was humble and prayed the rosary daily. Being family centric, she      ensured everyone was fed well by cooking our favorite Filipino dishes, various baked goods and desserts. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening as her pastime activity. Nanay Paz was also a talented seamstress who was known for sewing beautiful clothes for her grandchildren. She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman who led by example.

Nanay Paz was preceded in death by her late husband of 50 years of marriage, Urdaneto Palmani Bautista (2002) and her grandchild, Robert Sean Bautista (1984).

Paz is survived by her 4 children: Ramon G. Bautista, Rolando G. Bautista, Jose Rey G. Bautista, and Maria G. Bautista, with 11 grandchildren and 18 great   grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
