Helen Louise Pennock, 95, of Olathe, KS passed away June 6, 2019 in Gardner, KS. Visitation will be held 1:00 pm Tues., June 11, 2019 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Helen was born May 14, 1924 in Galena, KS to Ira Ellis and Elma Mae (Correll) Carlisle. She graduated from Galena High School. Helen married David D. Pennock on Aug. 1, 1946 in Columbus, KS. After marriage they lived in Riverton, Shawnee and Olathe. Helen lived at Good Samaritan Towers for seven years after David passed away. She was a member of the Christian Gospel Chapel in Ft. Scott, KS. Helen liked to quilt and crochet. She loved to watch sports on TV, especially the Royals and KU basketball. Helen will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband David in 2008; one sister and four brothers. Helen is survived by her daughters: Marsha and Robert Finch, Gardner, KS, Linda Turner, Littleton, CO and Nancy and Terry Brown, Olathe, KS; son, Dave and Nancy Pennock, Jr., Lenexa, KS, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
