Obituary for Nancy I White

Nancy I. White, 63, of DeSoto, Kansas transitioned from this life May 30th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born May 17, 1956 in Gardner, KS.  She was the daughter of Hilmar and Herbert Brown and a graduate of Olathe North High School.  She worked at Stanley Elementary School where she met the love of her life, Robert White.  Nancy and Robert were married December 29, 1989 in Kansas City, KS.  They lived in Lenexa, KS prior to moving to DeSoto, KS.  Nancy’s employment also included Mini Maid Service and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Family was her greatest joy and she was a devoted wife, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt.  Nancy enjoyed family gatherings and cooking for friends and family.  She also loved traveling, riding motorcycles, listening to music, watching game shows, and playing bingo.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister and three brothers.  She is survived by her husband Robert, children; Helina (Chris) Phillips of OK, Tanya White (Bill Maine) of KS.  Grandchildren; David White, Nina Phillips, Joie Thederahn, Allie White, Brody Maine, and 4 great-grandchildren.
